Widener Senior a Team Player for the Philadelphia Union Soccer Franchise
February 25, 2010The Philadelphia Union‘s inaugural season kicks off in March. After playing opening home games at Lincoln Financial Field, the team on June 27 will move into its newly named home in Chester, PPL Park, only three miles from Widener’s campus. Casey LeRoy, a senior business major in sports management who was captain of the women’s soccer team, is working as intern for the team this semester. Here she talks about her role in the new Major League Soccer franchise.
