Widener Magazine

I’m working on a story for the fall Widener Magazine about our many connections to the entertainment industry, starting with Cecil B. DeMille’s time as a student at Pennsylvania Military College in 1896-98 all the way up to Mia Farrow’s recent visit to the Widener Speakers Series.  If you know of alumni in Widener-PMC’s long history who should be included, or if you remember any on-campus performances or visits by nationally known entertainers (such as Bruce Springsteen’s concerts here in the seventies), please post a comment here or email me at jsstarnes@widener.edu.  The list I have is growing quite long, but I want to make sure I don’t miss anyone.    – Sam Starnes, Editor
