Widener University Junior Wins Fellowship For Community Involvement and Civic Outreach

Anna Miller, a junior chemistry major from East Prospect, Pa., does a lot more at college than conduct chemistry experiments. She belongs to Widener’s Presidential Service Corps (PSC)/Bonner Leaders Program, serves as site team leader at City Team Ministries in Chester, and is a member of the Bonner Advisory Board.
Earlier this week her community involvement and outreach efforts earned her the honor of being named a Newman Civic Fellow by Campus Compact. The Newman Civic Fellows Awards recognize inspiring college student leaders who have demonstrated an investment in finding solutions for challenges facing communities throughout the country.
