Widener and Pennsylvania Military College have a very long tradition of preparing soldiers and serving veterans. On Monday, March 26, one of America’s most highly decorated veterans, retired four-star Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the former commander of U.S. and international forces in Afghanistan, will be on campus.
McChrystal, Time magazine’s Person of the Year in 2009, will speak at 3:15 p.m. in the University Center Webb Room. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited.
