Dirt Turning, Bricks Moving: Follow Progress on Widener University’s New Academic Building

July 21, 2010

Work is underway on the new academic building that will house the School of Nursing and the Oskin Leadership Institute in the heart of Widener’s campus.  To monitor the building’s progress, you can check out a live web camera.  You can read more about the 35,000 square foot building slated to be in use by 2012 at www.widener.edu/newacademicbuilding, and view a video walk-through of the building.

Pictured below, workers on Wednesday afternoon removed a brick walkway running alongside the construction site in preparation of forthcoming heavy construction vehicles.

    • No, the bricks were stacked, waiting to be moved. I was impressed with how neat the stacks were.
