Friday Night Lights, Chester Style — Widener Soccer Teams to Play on Philadelphia Union Field

Widener University men’s and women’s soccer teams will step onto professional turf at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, when both teams play games in PPL Park, home of Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia UnionWidener Magazine’s forthcoming fall issue will feature an article about the partnership between Widener and the new soccer franchise that plays its home games in the new 18,500 seat stadium on the Chester waterfront, south of the Commodore Barry Bridge.  Admission to the Widener games on Sept. 17 is free, but you must pick up a ticket to attend.  Please visit Widenerpride.com for more information.
