PMC Alum and Author to Speak at Homecoming Event on Widener University Campus Friday

September 29, 2010

Henry Clay Robinett, the namesake of Widener ROTC’s Battery Robinett,  “experienced more challenges and obstacles than most do in a lifetime,” Bill Speer ’72 wrote in the opening chapter of From Broomsticks to Battlefield — After the Battle: The Story of Henry Clay Robinett.   Speer, author of the book from Deeds Publishing released earlier this year, was profiled in the January 2010 issue of Postscript.  He will be on campus to discuss his research at 2 p.m Friday in the Webb Room in University Center for the second annual PMC/ROTC homecoming gathering.  For more homecoming events, see the schedule here.
