Snow on the Lawn, Widener Classes Go On

I never get tired of photographing Old Main in the snow — about five inches fell on campus overnight, but classes were delayed only an hour this morning.    Freedom’s Pride,  a bronze sculpture of an eagle from the Japanese Meiji period (1868-1912), also picked up a good bit of powder. — Sam Starnes, Editor

  1. I didn’t realize that almost half-a-foot of snow fell overnight! That statue is covered!
