Take a journey to the ancient land of the Incas with FreshBaked Theatre Co., Widener’s theater for young adults, in their upcoming production of The Lake at the End of the World. The all-student cast and crew have been working hard as a team to put together the choreography for the musical depicting the bravery of one young girl as she searches for the magic lake holding water that will cure the son of the Inca King and free her brother from prison. “It is truly a group effort,” said director Lisa Cocchiarale.

Showings for students on campus and other guests will be on Saturday and Sunday, November 3 and 4. Both shows start at 2 p.m. in Alumni Auditorium and will last approximately 45 minutes. A $2 donation is requested. All benefits go to the Bernardine Center Food Pantry on 9th Street in Chester.

Matinees of the show will be held at 1 p.m. November 8 and 10 a.m. November 9. These are reservation only for local elementary and middle schools.  For more information, visit the FreshBaked Theatre Co.’s blog.
