When most people think of the big Homecoming game, football immediately comes to mind.

However, Homecoming on Saturday, October 19, also will showcase many other Widener Pride teams on the Main Campus:

Women’s volleyball is playing a doubleheader against Neumann University at 10 a.m. and Swarthmore College at 2 p.m. Both men’s and women’s swimming have meets against Misericordia University at 10 a.m.  Women’s field hockey will take on Elizabethtown College at 12 p.m.  Men’s and women’s soccer will play Arcadia University, with the women’s game starting at 5 p.m. and the men at 7:30 p.m. And, of course, the football game against Misericordia is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Other Homecoming weekend events will include the Nursing Champagne Breakfast, the Presidential Service Corps/Bonner Leader 10th Anniversary Celebration and Service Event, a tour of Widener’s newest building, Freedom Hall, and the second annual Homecoming 5K.
